Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, USA<\/span>, IIM has established a strong presence through its global chapters in the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Switzerland, India, Ghana, and Nigeria.<\/span>  <\/span>

<\/p>IIM was established to serve the growing community of professionals<\/span> managing the dynamic information lifecycle<\/span> including data, information, records, documents, knowledge, content, and archives management <\/span>within enterprises across public and private sectors. The Institute\u2019s overarching mission is to promote and support best practices in information and data management<\/span>, with a particular focus on key sectors such as health, education, governance, finance,<\/span> and other data-driven ecosystems.  <\/span><\/span>

Our mission is to ensure that information management professionals are <\/span>abreast of current and future challenges<\/span> associated with <\/span>managing Information assets<\/span> in an era of social, mobile, cloud, big data and to develop and maintain a premier information management institution which consistently achieves <\/span>high standards, certification, competence, and research<\/span> in delivering value to its membership globally.<\/span>
