Mission

The mission of the R&D Working Group is to coordinate and oversee research initiatives that support IIM’s strategic objectives, professional standards, and long-term industry growth.


Objectives

The Working Group seeks to:

  • Develop and oversee IIM’s research and development agenda
  • Advise the Executive Council and Management on research strategy and priorities
  • Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and practices in Information Management, Records, and Archives Administration
  • Support the development of new methodologies, frameworks, and standards
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of IIM research programs
