ABOUT IIM WORKING GROUPS / COMMITTEES
The Institute of Information Management (IIM) Africa operates through specialized Committees and Working Groups that support governance, professional standards, education, research, membership growth, public engagement, and institutional development. These bodies provide expert guidance, develop policies and programs, and advance the Institute’s mandate across Africa and beyond.
Participation in IIM Committees and Working Groups is open to eligible members of the Institute, subject to approval by the IIM Secretariat.

Members serve in a voluntary capacity and are selected based on professional expertise, experience, and demonstrated commitment to the Data and Information Management profession.
All Committees and Working Groups operate under the authority of the IIM Executive Council and in accordance with Institute policies and governance frameworks.
